Yesterday 6 of us went up the trail to Giant Mountain‘s peak. it was a great time and the view was awesome. just wanted to let those that were there – that the pictures are up on facebook

What I’m working on is to start a stream and open a Remote port over ssh tunnel – this is going to be designed for extremely high availability hosting.

concept is this

• main audio machine not accessible from external IP – but could open ssh connection out or initiate stream
• would need to be streamed to server – pre encoded to final stream.
• ideally – the system to stream from is Linux based – command line only
• use ssh tunnel push mode (-R1234:localhost:1234) then optimally multistream from external server
• configuration of local machine should remain simple so that this could be replicated anywhere. Read the rest of this entry »

After thinking about this dream this morning – I’m wondering what if any is the meaning for it. Since my dreams tend to be very directly related to something current – what is it?

In a dream last night – I was in a bar someplace with friends (no person in particular that I remember) and I end up hearing something over everything and everyone – a voice that says “it is planned…” and I say “what?”, it says “it is happening.” Right after the last word I see a amazingly bright purple light outside, when I go outside its some spaceship landing… then I woke up

Afterthoughts:

• the spoken word was a whisper heard above everything else.
• the purple light was the best i could use to define the color – but it was an incredible sight.
• I don’t think the spaceship had anything to do with it because I think I switched dreams at the point I went “outside”.
